Are you a recent graduate or graduating Architecture student looking for a unique opportunity to learn about all aspects of building design and construction with one of the region’s most well respected and financially stable real estate firms? Cummings Properties is actively seeking a full-time entry level Designer/Drafter to join our Beverly Design team. In addition to architecture and space planning, we integrate sustainability, site, structural, and MEP disciplines. Our team also provides renderings, feasibility studies, cost estimates, and marketing support to our in-house Leasing, Operations, and Construction departments. Our renovation and fit-up projects include exterior and interior renovations to existing buildings, as well as significant office, medical, retail, and laboratory fit-ups.

Responsibilities include producing schematic space plans, construction documents, project documentation, and estimates, and conducting local site visits. Qualified applicants must be willing to jump into new projects and able to work well in an active, fast-paced environment.

The preferred candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD in an office environment.
  • Sketch Up and Revit experience helpful.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • High attention to detail and an ability to generate timely, cost-effective design solutions.
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude with strong written and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to work on site (This is not a remote or hybrid position.)
